🛠️ What You’ll Need

Before heading up the ladder, make sure you have the following ready.

• The box includes Light Strips, Power Adapter, Control Box, Remote Control, Screws & Anchors, Cable Buckle & Screws, Spare Adhesive Stickers, and the User Manual.
• You will need a Ladder, a Tape Measure, and an Electric Drill (optional but recommended for wood eaves).

Step 1: The "Bench Test" (Crucial!)

This simple test takes about 5 minutes.

Before you peel a single sticker, you must test the lights.

1. Unbox all your Light Strips.
2. Connect them all together on the ground or a table.
3. Plug them into the Power Adapter to turn them on.

We recommend doing this to ensure every single LED is working perfectly before they are mounted on your eaves. Once you confirm they all light up, disconnect the power and prepare for installation.

Step 2: Clean and Measure

The Secret to the Perfect "Wall Wash" Effect

Where you place the light matters. For that premium, scalloped light effect on your walls, distance is key.

• Use your tape measure to find the ideal spot 4-12 inches away from the wall surface.
• Placing the lights too close will result in a light cone that looks too narrow and sharp.
• Mounting them too far away means the light won't reflect beautifully off the wall surface.
• Thoroughly wipe the entire installation area with a dry cloth or cleaning tissue.
• This critical step removes invisible dust and oils to ensure the 3M PE adhesive bonds permanently, so please do not skip it!

Step 3: Peel, Stick, and Press

Now, let's start hanging them.

1. Tear off the protective film from the double-sided tape on the back of the light pod.
2. Position the light at your measured distance.
3. Press the light firmly against the surface for more than 5 seconds.

Applying this pressure is essential to activate the adhesive and ensure a strong initial hold.

Step 4: Secure with Screws (Make it Permanent)

Weatherproofing Your Setup

Adhesive is great for positioning, but for a truly "permanent" installation that withstands years of wind, rain, and snow, you must use the provided screws.

• Use the provided Screws (from the Screws & Anchors kit) to secure the light pods directly to the eaves.
• You do not need to screw in every single pod if the surface is smooth, but we recommend securing one every few lights for maximum stability.
• Use the included Cable Buckles to tighten up any loose wires between segments or around corners to keep the look neat.

Step 5: Connect and Waterproof

Seal the Deal

When connecting two Light Strips together:

1. Align the connectors by looking for the arrows or guides.
2. Push them together firmly.
3. Screw the waterproof cap tightly over the connection.

Please pay close attention to the very end of your setup. On the last string of lights, you must screw on the waterproof end cap. This prevents moisture from entering the system and causing short circuits.

Step 6: Light Up and Pair!

Once everything is mounted and secured:

1. Plug in the Power Adapter.
2. Download the DeckTok App (iOS/Android).
3. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your lights.
